STAND FOR MARRIAGE IN ARIZONA!
The November 7 election is less than four weeks away. Already, people are casting votes on Proposition 107 (the Protect Marriage Arizona Amendment) each and every day through the early balloting process.
We need your help!!! The Yes on 107 campaign likely won’t begin to match the dollars being raised by those who support same sex marriage and oppose Prop 107. But we can counter the dollars effectively through grassroots organization and volunteer efforts! That means you and me devoting time to this effort.
Now is the time to stand for marriage between one man and one woman! Take time today to decide how you can help stand for marriage the next four weeks. Here’s how you can help:
Pray - Pray that voters would stand up in favor of marriage between one man and one woman.
Influence - Tell your friends and neighbors about Proposition 107 and encourage them to vote yes.
Phone Calls - Make 100 calls from home in support of Proposition 107, or come to a CAP phone bank any Monday or Thursday between 5:30 pm and 8:30 pm. Phone calls identifying the yes vote are one of the most effective ways to win an election. We could win or lose this election simply on the basis of whether or not the phone calls get made! Volunteers are needed to make the phone calls as we can’t afford paid phone banks!
Distribute - Ask your church if it would be willing to show a DVD in support of Prop 107, distribute CAP’s voter guides, and use PMA’s new bulletin insert. Other groups can distribute voter guides, too! Are you a part of a group that meets regularly that might be willing to pass out Yes on 107 flyers?
Donate - The opposition is well-funded, with money coming in from sources such as the Human Rights Campaign, a national homosexual activist group. We need your donation to get our message out and tell people the truth about Proposition 107! Donations should be sent directly to the Proposition 107 Office: P.O. Box 3025 Tempe, AZ 85280-3025
This is make-or-break time for Proposition 107, so please help defend marriage! Now is not the time to grow complacent or to sit on the sidelines while one of the must crucial ballot propositions in Arizona history is being decided.
